A Special Gift from Some Special Young People

The Foundation recently received three large boxes in the mail. Inside were dozens of new reading books for kids. A letter explained that the students in Ms. Wool’s class at the Anne Dorner Middle School in Ossining, New York, had heard about Ennis and the Foundation through this website. They decided to make Hello Friend the beneficiary of their public service work. They worked hard, raised money, bought the books and sent them off with the hope that their gift would get into the hands of children in need.

Keeping a charitable organization moving forward is a challenging task in the current landscape of economic and world affairs. Receiving such a wonderful and spirited gift has put wind in the sails of everyone involved in the Foundation’s daily work. The students of Anne Dorner Middle School make it all worthwhile.
